What is LearningTorah.org?
LearningTorah.org is an online service that provides an intuitive easy to use mechanism for creating and sharing Divrei Torah and for providing a stage on which parents, teachers and Rebbis can highlight and single out "Star Talmidim" for their accomplishments. How do I join?
To become a member of LearningTorah, go to the Signup page, choose a user name and password, and enter your information. Then click the "Sign Up" button and you're done.
How do I confirm my email address?
Confirming your email address is required to perform many actions on LearningTorah, such as uploading Divrei Torah and posting comments. It is part of signing up for new members. When signing up, enter the email address you would like to use as your contact for LearningTorah. After completing the Sign Up procedure, check your email for a message from LearningTorah and click the link in the email to complete the confirmation process. If you don't receive the confirmation email within a few minutes, be sure to check your spam folder to make sure it wasn't misfiled.
I never received my confirmation email. What happened?
If you have just joined LearningTorah, the confirmation link is included in the "Welcome" email you received after signing up. If you were already a member of LearningTorah and are now confirming your email, you will receive a separate confirmation email. If you don't receive either the welcome or confirmation email when you expect to, check in your email spam folder. If you still haven't received it after several hours, you can try confirming your email again with a different email address.

Uploading Divrei Torah and Star Talmidim to LearningTorah
I have to sign up to upload Divrei Torah or Star Talmidim?
Yes. Since entries are attached to your profile, you must sign up as a member to upload content. Becoming a member also allows you to save favorites, send messages and leave comments, among many other features.
How do I upload a Dvar Torah?
- Click "Add Dvar Torah" on any LearningTorah page.
- Enter your Dvar Torah using the editor that is provided. Make sure to include Title, Tags, and Category. The more information you include, the easier it is for users to find your Dvar Torah!
- Click the "Add Dvar Torah" button to submit.
How do I submit a Star Talmid candidate?
- Click "Add Star Talmid" on any LearningTorah page.
- Enter your Star Talmid’s nickname and a description of the Talmid’s achievement in learning.
- Browse to the directory where the Talmid’s picture is kept and click on the file name.
- Click the "Add Talmid" button to submit.
How long will it take for my Dvar Torah or Star Talmid entry to upload?
The actual upload of a Dvar Torah or Star Talmid candidate should only take a few minutes. However, because LearningTorah is 100% moderated, it can take from a few minutes to several hours before the entry appears on the site.
How long will my Divrei Torah and Star Talmidim be available on LearningTorah?
Divrei Torah and Star Talmidim stay on LearningTorah until the members who uploaded them choose to take them down.
How do I find my uploaded Divrei Torah and Star Talmidim?
You can get to your uploaded content by clicking the "My Account" link at the top of the page and then clicking one of the links to My Divrei Torah, My Star Talmidim and more.
How do I share Divrei Torah?
Sharing a Dvar Torah is easy, by just clicking on the "Send To Friend" button at the bottom of the Dvar Torah, and enter the email addresses of the people to whom you want to send it. Click the "Send" button, and you're all done!
What does the Dvar Torah rating represent?
A Dvar Torah's rating represents the average of all ratings it has been given by users since it was uploaded.
I commented on a Dvar Torah, but my comment isn't appearing. What happened?
There may be a delay for comments to appear on a Dvar Torah once they're posted, due to the fact that the site is moderated. Usually, a comment will appear a few minutes after posting.
