Learning Torah was created for two purposes:
- To provide an intuitive easy to use mechanism for creating and sharing Divrei Torah.
- To provide a stage on which parents, teachers and Rebbis can highlight and single out “Star Talmidim” for their accomplishments.
All visitors to the site are able to view and peruse the Dvar Torah repository and the gallery of Star Talmidim. Registered users are able to add Divrei Torah and Star Talmidim, and are able to communicate with other registered users.
The website is a fully moderated site. That means that all Divrei Torah that are added, and all Star Talmidim that are proposed to be added to the gallery, are reviewed in detail by our editors to ensure that the content is appropriate for the Learning Torah site. Inappropriate entries and submissions will not be uploaded onto the site.
The Learning Torah project is a non-profit development effort. All proceeds from ads or support received are used to maintain and improve the website.
We are lucky to have the cooperation of some of the world’s leading Torah scholars and Torah websites that have enabled us to launch this new project.
